Who we are
Cloud Publications, 23 Second Floor, Sector-22, Noida, NCR Delhi – 201301, India, is the data controller for personal data described in this policy.
For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@cloudpublications.org or on (+91) 120-2648076.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver work you have asked for.
- Enquiry details — name, email address, telephone number, institution and the description of your requirement that you submit through our contact form.
- Work material — manuscripts, datasets, drafts and related files you send us in the course of an engagement.
- Correspondence — the emails, messages and call notes exchanged while we work together.
- Technical data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type and pages requested, retained for security and diagnostics.
How we use it
Your data is used to respond to your enquiry, carry out agreed work, issue invoices and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
- We do not use your unpublished work to train models, as sample material, or for any purpose other than your engagement.
Lawful basis
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, we rely on: contract, to deliver work you have commissioned; legitimate interests, to respond to enquiries and secure our systems; and legal obligation, for accounting and tax records.
Confidentiality of your work
Drafts, data and unpublished research you send us are seen only by the specialists assigned to your engagement. They are never shared with third parties and never reused for other clients.
A signed confidentiality agreement is available on request before you send anything.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for two years from last contact. Engagement files are retained for three years from completion so we can answer follow-up questions, then deleted. Financial records are retained for the period Indian tax law requires.
You may ask us to delete your work files earlier and we will do so, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
Subject to your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- request deletion of your data
- object to or restrict how we process it
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent where processing relies on it
To exercise any of these, email info@cloudpublications.org. We respond within thirty days.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We do not run third-party analytics that profile you across sites.
Fonts are served from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service when a page loads. If you prefer to avoid this, the site remains fully usable with those requests blocked.
Security
Data is held on infrastructure with access control, encryption in transit and encrypted backups. Access is limited to staff who need it for your engagement.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will tell you, and the relevant authority, without undue delay.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be published here with a revised update date. Where a change materially affects an active engagement, we will tell you directly rather than rely on you noticing.
