Publication ethics

Our workflows follow COPE guidance.

  • Every submission passes similarity screening, image integrity checks and conflict-of-interest review before reaching a reviewer.
  • Each journal holds a documented process for corrections, expressions of concern and retractions.
  • Acceptance decisions rest with editors and reviewers. We do not influence them and we do not sell them.
  • We will not fabricate data, alter findings, or supply work intended to be presented as unaided when it was not.
  • Allegations of misconduct are investigated against COPE flowcharts, with the outcome recorded regardless of who raised it.

Accessibility statement

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site and our journal platforms.

  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text and interface components meet the contrast ratios required at Level AA.
  • Content is structured with semantic landmarks and a single, correctly ordered heading hierarchy per page.
  • Motion respects the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
  • If you encounter a barrier, tell us and we will fix it. Report it by email or WhatsApp and we will confirm receipt within two working days.
